Johann Samuel Ferdinand [first] Blumröder (Born July 27, 1793 in Gillersdorf, † October 31, 1878 in Erfurt) was an Evangelical Lutheran clergyman and politician in the Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondshausen.

Johann Samuel Ferdinand Blumröder was the son of the pastor and consistory assessor Heinrich Ludwig Christian Blumröder (1745–1815) in Gillersdorf [2] and his second wife Johanna Helena Sophia Friederica born Reinhardt (1766–1817). On October 29, 1820, Ferdinand Blumröder married Marianne Charlotte Kritz (born September 26, 1796 in Leipzig, † July 19, 1879 in Erfurt), the daughter of the Ober-Hofgericht-Protonotar Christian Wilhelm Kritz.

After visiting the lyceum in Arnstadt from 1806 to 1813 [3] and the study of theology in Jena (1813-1814) [4] and Leipzig (1814–1815) he initially worked as a house teacher and teacher in various positions before becoming a pastor in the Blackburg Oelze and Masserberg from 1820.
