He played college football for the University of Kentucky. Dupree has been under contract with Tennessee Titans in the National Football League (NFL) since 2021. Before that, he played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for six years. Dupree visited the Wilkinson County High School in Irwinton, Georgia, where he played basketball and American football as a wide receiver, tight end and defensive end. Then he went to the University of Kentucky, where he Kentucky Wildcats played in the NCAA Division I FBS. There he was initially planned as a Tight End, but was used in the defense to get quick practice. In the four years for Kentucky, he was used as a line backer and as a defensive end. [first] [2] In total, Dupree achieved 248 Tackles in his college period, 38 of them for loss of space and 23.5 sacks. In his year as a senior, he was able to record 13.5 Tackles for Loss and 7.5 sacks. He was chosen for this performance in the All-Star team of the Southeasters Conference (SEC). [3] Dupree was selected in the first round of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round in the NFL Draft in the first round. [4] In his rookies season, he stood in the field in all games of the Steelers, four of them from the start. He scored 26 tackles and four sacks. Because of a muscle tear, Dupree missed the first nine games of the 2016 season. [5] In April 2018, the Steelers Duprees contract option moved to a fifth year over $ 9.2 million. [6] With 20 sacks in his first four years, Dupree played solidly, but initially did not meet the expectations that had been put in him as a first -off picking.
