The state road 2190 leads to Kasendorf (3.5 km northeast) or to Fesselsdorf (4.5 km southwest). A municipal connecting road leads to Schirradorf to state road 2189 (2.8 km south). With the municipal edic, Azendorf was assigned to the Kasendorf tax district formed in 1811 and the rural community of the same name formed in 1812. With the second municipal arric (1818) the Ruralgemeinde Azendorf, which belonged to Neudorf and Reuth. It was assigned to the Hollfeld district court in administration and jurisdiction and the Rentamt Kulmbach in the financial administration. In voluntary jurisdiction, some estates belonged to patrimonial courts until 1848, which were created from the former knights. In 1852 Azendorf was transferred to the district court of Thurnau and in 1856 to the Rentamt Thurnau (renamed Thurnau in 1919). From 1862 Azendorf belonged to the Kulmbach district office (renamed Kulmbach district in 1939). Jurisdiction remained at the Thurnau district court (converted into the Thurnau District Court in 1879), and the Kulmbach district court has been responsible since 1929. The tax authorities were taken over by the Kulmbach tax office in 1929. [6] The municipality had an area area of \u200b\u200b11.231 km\u00b2.
