The travel enduro came onto the market in March 2004 and was the first model of BMW with the boxer engine from 1130 cm\u00b3 minimally to 1170 cm\u00b3. The spring preload is mechanically adjustable at the front, the spring preload can be adjusted in the back of the handwheel with hydraulically infinitely adjustable, and the rain stowage can also be adjusted. A floating double-disc “Evo” brake with a diameter of 305 mm and a 4-piston cloak is delayed by the front wheel. A single-pane brake with a diameter of 265 mm and double piston swimming saddle works on the rear wheel.
