The three golden balls in blue are taken from the coat of arms of the Freyberg family, which had been based in Haldenwang since 1525, built a castle there and held the local rule. The donkey hull represents the reduced coat of arms of the barons of Riedheim and stands for Eichenhofen. The barons of Riedheim acquired the castle and village of Eichenhofen in 1367 and remained the towns on the end of the old empire. The lily has been taken from the coat of arms of the Paumgartner patrician family in Augsburg and stands for the municipality of Konzenberg. The colors silver and red indicate the former sovereign in the municipal area, the Augsburg for Stift. The boiler (referred to as port in Bavarian) stands to the Hafenhofen municipality.
