The route begins at the hub several streets-Hauptstrasse 6, A6 and Europastrasse 27-, on the Guido-M\u00fcller-Platz, on the border with Biel\/Bienne, in Nidau 432 m\u00a0\u00fc.\u00a0M. The section Aarberg -Nidau \u200b\u200bof today’s Hauptstrasse 235 is part of the historical road compound (Bern -) Aarberg -Nidau [first] and with this almost identical, except in parts of the large moss only from the middle of the 19th century [2] . This street connection is part of the IV – inventory of historical traffic routes in Switzerland – and had regular postal traffic with stuck in the second half of the 18th century.
