[3] The “New Saxon Church Gallery” is said for the Heinzebank:

“Gladly and often – sometimes all summer – Heinrich the pious struck his summer camp in the Schloss zu Wolkenstein in order to achieve hunting here or in the vicinity. Such a stay also stems the emergence of the Heinzebank near Hilmersdorf, a man -loving man’s grille founded in 1586, by Heinrich der Fromme, popularly called Heinz or Heinze, on which the wonderful view offers a bank d. H. A resting place, a lust or hunting louse had built, where he liked to have breakfast, especially when hunting, [note: elsewhere [4] It also says: “[…] the duke often stayed, to be obvious to either hunting, to watch mining or to enjoy the view of its beautiful, valley and high country.”]. The bank was therefore called Heinrichsbank or Heinzbank. ” [5]

August Schumann described in the state lexicon of Saxony Heinzebank u. so:

“The estate is directly under the office, going to the fief in Dresden, has 20 inhabitants, 18 cows and 140 sheep. For Heinzebank, Chaussee intake and an office and accise income of the Wolkenstein office. ” [6]

The Lehngut was sold to the State Treasury in 1887 and was located by the forest master of the Forstrevier Heinzebank. The 1905 Buschmühle torn down in the Heinzewald.

It is unclear whether the name “Heinzebank” goes back to a short form of “Heinrichsbank” or represents a verbal hearing that alludes to the Citizen of Wolkenstein “Heintz”, which was refused in 1543.

Even today there is the hotel restaurant “Zur Heinzebank”, which is one of the oldest inns in Saxony.
