The Japanese Formula 4 Championship 2017 (officially F4 Japanese Championship certified by FIA 2017 ) was the third season of the Japanese Formula 4 championship. There were 14 races, the championship began on April 7th in Mimasaka and ended in Motegi on November 12th. Ritomo Miyata won the driver’s championship title.

All teams and drivers used the chassis Dome F110. The Tom’s Toyota 3ZR was used as the engine. The tires came from the Sumitomo Rubber Industries under the brand name Dunlop. The registered teams were announced on March 11, 2017. [first]

There were seven racing weekends with two races each, all racing weekends took place as part of the Super GT events.

In each race, the first ten of the race 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 or 1 point (e) received. There was no point for the pole position and the fastest racing round. Only the best 13 results were evaluated in the driver’s ranking (string result).
