Martin Hudec (Born April 15, 1982 in Znaim) is a former Czech football player.
At the age of six, Martin Hudec joined 1st SC Znojmo, at that time TJ Roter Stern Znojmo (changed the name several times), and stayed with the South Moravian Association for ten years. In 1998 the central defender moved from the then third division to Olomouc to SK Sigma Olomouc. Until 2001 he played there in youth before moving to the senior sector. In his second year, Hudec came to the first short assignments in the Gambrinus League, the highest Czech division. In the 2003/04 season, the central defender had his breakthrough: he became a regular player and contested all 30 league charges, except for four all over the full game.
For another five years, the Czech was a fixture at Olomouc, then the German second division team TuS Koblenz showed interest in him in search of reinforcements and lent him together with his club companion Melinho for the 2009/10 season [first] . However, his debut was extremely unhappy, after 22 minutes in his first second division game he sustained a breach of ankle and failed for a long time. [2] He was only on the pitch again at the start of the second half of the season, but was hardly used afterwards.
Hudec returned to the Czech Republic for the 2010/11 season after the TuS Koblenz left the 2nd Bundesliga. The new TuS Koblenz coach, Petrik Sander, no longer planned with Hudec. In August 2010 Hudec joined FC Zbrojovka Brno. [3] At the end of January 2011, he signed a contract with the Karlsruher SC until the end of the season. [4] This was not extended and Hudec switched to second division relegation VfL Osnabrück in summer 2011. He stayed there for 2 years before moving back to his home club 1. DC Znojmo in 2015. He stayed there for only half a year. Then Hudec moved back to Germany to SV Meppen. There the Tschechen contract expired in winter 2016.
