Pedro el escamoso It is a Colombian soap opera, original by Luis Felipe Salamanca, produced by Luis Felipe Salamanca and Dago García and transmitted by Caracol Televisión between 2001 and 2003. [ first ] At the time it was popular in the Colombian country, after I am Betty the Ugly one . [ 2 ]

The story of Pedro Coral Tavera, created by Luis Felipe Salamanca, moves away from the typical Colombian soap opera gallant: he is not rich, he is not handsome, he does not dress well, he believes he is a good dancer. It is the story of an inveterate womanizer, a relentless gallant who arrives in Bogotá escaping his hometown as a result, nothing more or nothing less than a skirt problem. [ 8 ]
Upon his arrival, Pedro, a “escamoso” being, ready and in love, ‘stumbles’ with the love of his life, Paula Dávila, and in less than 48 hours he ends up being his driver and confidant. Not only that is also transformed into the great livelihood of the Pacheco family, integrated exclusively by women, whom the man in the house has just left to go to the other world. This is how Pedrito Coral Tavera finds the perfect scenario to act and deploy its scales. He creates his own universe, full of great lies, but good intentions. And, finally, this recalcitrant seducer ends up being the key person in the life of every human being who crosses him, spreading joy with his ‘captivating smile’, his particular way of dressing, speaking and exciting.
Pedro el Esquamoso is a guy who believes himself the most handsome, the most attractive, the best dancer, the one who knows everything; He is a liar and if that were not enough he is a womanizer, always taking advantage of the opportunity to conquer how much girl he was going through his way. He is considered as the third world and is famous for his dancing dancing, his warm smile, his tender look and his lovely voice.

After the novel in 2003, Telemundo produced a spin-off denominated Like Pedro for his house , [ 23 ] The series is divided into three sagas, of 20 chapters each. Starring Miguel Varoni.
