Shan rahimkhan (actually Khashayar rahimkhan ; * October 27, 1972 in Tehran) is an Iranian-German hairdresser and entrepreneur.

Shan Rahimkhan was born in 1972 as the second child of an Iranian teacher and an Iranian engineer. From the age of 13 he initially lived with his uncle in Vienna. During this time, Rahimkhan accepted Austrian citizenship. [first] He later moved to a Kolpinghaus. [2]

Rahimkhan has an older sister and a younger brother. He has been married since 2003. His son was born in 2007. [3] Rahimkhan has been living in Berlin since 1995 and now has German citizenship. [4]

Rahimkhan was supposed to become a doctor in Vienna, but then completed an apprenticeship as a hairdresser and wig maker in 1988. [5] Then he worked in the renowned Viennese salon “Jacques Dessee”. At the age of 18, Rahimkhan received his journeyman’s letter and worked from then on in various salons in New York City, Los Angeles, Paris and London. [6] In 1995 Shan Rahimkhan moved to Berlin, where he initially worked as a hairdresser at Udo Walz. [7]

In 1997 he joined Andreas Hagn’s hairdressing salon, which Rahimkhan later continued independently. In November 2005 he opened an 800 square meter concept store with a hairdresser area, Café/Bistro and Boutique at the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin. [first] [6] In 2010 Rahimkhan developed his own haircare series. [8] In November 2012, Shan Rahimkhan opened a branch on Kurfürstendamm. [9] Rahimkhan employs 110 people in his companies in total. [5] In June 2013, Rahimkhan was committed to the Berlin Foundation Fair Chance and donated a total daily turnover to the “Sprache” project, which supports children with a migration background and at focal schools in German learning. Rakimkhan works as a hairdresser and stylist at Berlin Fashion Week [11] And part of the GQ Care Awards jury. [twelfth] Rahimkhan was one of the selected stylists who were responsible for the appearance of the athletes at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. [13] Rahimkhan recently described the lifestyle magazine for women MySelf as “Germany’s new star coiffer”. [14]

The customers of Shan Rahimkhan include numerous celebrities, such as the actors Jodie Foster, Leonardo DiCaprio and Nicole Kidman, Katja Flint and Iris Berben, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Tony Blair, top model Lena Gercke, soccer coach Joachim Löw, Former boxing world champion Regina Halmich and the former world champion in swimming Franziska van Almsick.
