The Aristotle-English Is as a sub -project of the Aristotle Latinos A sub -project of the The body of philosophers Middle Ages the Union Académique Internationale to Edition of translations of the writings of the Aristotle, the basis for the important philosophical-theological reception of the Greek philosopher in the Middle Ages.

The goal is the edition of Syrian, Arab and Hebrew, sometimes also Persian translations or paraphrases of works of the Aristotle as well as their Latin translations and from the medieval comments on these translations. The project was justified in 1971 by Hendrik Joan Drossaart Lulof in cooperation with Lorenzo Minio Paluello, the head of the Aristotle Latinos . Directors and editors are currently Hans Daiber, professor of orientalistics at the University of Frankfurt am Main, and Remke Kruk, emeritus professor of Arabic at the university.

The series of publications started in 1971, and 22 volumes have been published to date. Volumes 1–4 were published on behalf of the Royal-Dutch academy of sciences at North-Holland Publishing Company, Amsterdam, and since then the series has been housed in Verlag E. J. Brill, Leiden.
