L’ Association RMC\/BFM is a French association aimed at working in favor of prevention, and information on medical action. The main field of activity is the installation of cardiac defibrillators in the places welcoming the public and businesses and to raise awareness among the population of cardiac massage and the use of the defibrillator. The association was created in 2008 by Isabelle and Alain Weill [ first ] , members of the management committee of the Nextradiotv group which in particular holds the RMC and BFM radios.   The RMC\/BFM association carries out national projects in the field and in the media throughout the year to encourage business leaders and local authorities to equip themselves as a defibrillator and to raise awareness of the population of First aid. The good Samaritan has been deployed in France since 2016. The service which has more than 200,000 volunteers is used by the SAMU and\/or the firefighters in 70 French departments. Since its launch, the service has totaled more than 22,000 interventions which have saved hundreds of victims of cardiac arrest. A study [ 9 ] Completed jointly with the Paris fire brigade showed a doubling of the survival rate (from 16 to 35%) in the event of a good Samaritan.
