After a brief break, the group met in 2012 and published its second album, The Moment You Realize You’re Going to Fall In August the same year. The group then publishes an album-concept, Lotus Island , in January 2013. Beginnings (2001\u20132005) [ modifier | Modifier and code ] After having popularized in Limp Bizkit, Wes Borland left the group in 2001 [ first ] . He was already a member of Big Dumb Face, a project in which he was with his brother Scott, during his period in Limp Bizkit [ 2 ] . After failing in another musical project, The Damning Well, in 2003 [ 3 ] , Borland is starting to write new songs with its members Danny Lohner and Josh Freese, with the contribution of Josh Eustis and John Bates. This is how Black Light Burns was born, which is, during this period, more relaxing in particular. Borland returned to Limp Bizkit in summer 2004, as a tourist guitarist alongside A Perfect Circle and Nine Inch Nails. Of Cruel Melody at the break (2006\u20132011) [ modifier | Modifier and code ] The first tour of Black Light Burns was made at the end of 2006 with From First To Last [ 4 ] , for which Borland played bass. At his first week of release, Cruel Melody have 6,000 copies sold in the United States [ 5 ] . Borland explains that he is the only constant member of Black Light Burns, because the other studio members devote themselves more to the group’s tours. The initial training of Black Light Burns for tours includes Wes Borland (song, guitar), Marshall Kilpatric (Battery; ex-the Esoteric), Nick Annis (guitar; ex-Opt Hand, ex-Turn of the Screw), Sean Fetterman (bass; ex-Turn of the Screw). The song Lie is the first single of the album, broadcast on local radio on March 20. Borland announces tour dates for May 2007 with Chevelle in April. On June 13, 2007, Black Light Burns participated and play Lie on the show Last Call with Carson Daly [ 6 ] . Between the end of 2007 and the beginning of 2008, Black Light Burns published a resumed album entitled Cover Your Heart and the Anvil Pants Odyssey which includes remixes and B faces of Cruel Melody , as well as a DVD of the group on stage. The group takes over PJ Harvey, The Jesus Lizard, Love and Rockets, The Swans, Fiona Apple, Lard, and the Borland Parallel project, Big Dumb Face. Devil Inside From Inxs was also to appear on the album. Black Light Burns turned with Combichrist in December 2008, and plays two new songs I Want You to And How to Look Naked [ 7 ] .Black Light Burns pauses because of the return of Limp Bizkit.
