The climatic parameters which made it possible to establish the typology of 2010 have six variables for temperatures and eight for precipitation, whose values correspond to normal 1971-2000 [ Note 4 ] . The seven main variables characterizing the municipality are presented in the box below. Communal climatic parameters over the period 1971-2000 [ 15 ] Annual temperature average: 13.7 °C Number of days with a temperature below −5 °C : 1,1 j Number of days with a temperature above 30 °C : 5,5 j Annual thermal amplitude [ Note 5 ] : 13.2 °C Annual precipitation accumulation: 1,441 mm Number of precipitation days in January: 12.6 d Number of precipitation days in July: 8.5 d With climate change, these variables have evolved. A study carried out in 2014 by the Directorate General of Energy and Climate [ 18 ] supplemented by regional studies [ 19 ] provides indeed that the average temperature should grow and the average rainfall is lower, with high regional variations. These changes can be noted on the nearest Météo-France weather station, “Labastide-Clair”, in the town of La Bastide-Clairence, commissioned in 1986 [ 20 ] and which is at 10 km as the crow flies [ 21 ] , [ Note 6 ] , where the average annual temperature is 14.1 °C and the precipitation height of 1,411.1 mm For the period 1981-2010 [ 22 ] .On the nearest historic weather station, “Biarritz-Pays-Basque”, in the town of Anglet, commissioned in 1956 and 30 km [ 23 ] , the average annual temperature evolves from 14.1 °C For the period 1971-2000 [ 24 ] , To 14.3 °C For 1981-2010 [ 25 ] , then 14.6 °C For 1991-2020 [ 26 ] .
