THE Missions of Ryūkyū in Korea of Joseon are diplomatic and commercial companies of the Kingdom of Ryūkyū, sent intermittently from 1392 to 1879. These diplomatic contacts take place within the framework of the sinocentric system of bilateral and multinational relations in East Asia. King Ryūkyūien Satto establishes formal relations with the Joseon Court [ first ] . These diplomatic contacts represent an important aspect of international contact and communication relations Ryūkyū-Joseon. Ryūkyū’s missions are mentioned in diplomatic history at the end of the Gorneo, and these diplomatic and commercial relations continue without interruption until the War 1592-1598 years [ 2 ] . Yi Seong-Gye declares a new dynasty in 1392-1393 under the name of “Joseon dynasty” (with the intention of reviving an old dynasty also known as Joseon, founded almost four thousand years earlier). The country must be called the “Kingdom of Grand Joseon” [ 3 ] . Shortly after his accession to the throne, the new monarch sends emissaries to inform the Ming Court in Nankin that a change of dynasty took place [ 4 ] . In 1392, the emissary of the Kingdom of Ryūkyū at the court of the Monarque Goryeo was one of the first foreign representatives to appear before the court of the new king of what was called Dynasty Joseon. During this period, the historical, political and diplomatic material for research associated with the Ryūkyū islands is found in the Annals of the Joseon dynasty ( Joseon Wangjo Sillok ) [ 5 ] . Emisters from the Kingdom of Ryūkyū were received in 1392. Ryūkyū also sent missions in 1394 and 1397 [ 4 ] . Between 1409 and 1477, the Joseon Court receives 13 diplomatic and commercial missions from the Ryūkyū islands [ 6 ] . 1392 – An emissary and his suite of the Kingdom of Ryūkyū are received by the Joseon Court [ 4 ] . The Joseon Wangjo Sillok indicates that the emissaries of Ryūkyū are granted the ” 5 It is lower east row ” [ 7 ] . To their obliges it is granted the ” 6 It is lower row ”. The Ryūkyū delegation offers what is identified as MONEY , term which designates the gifts offered by subordinate states [ 8 ] . 1394 – an emissary and his procession from the kingdom of Ryūkyū are received [ 4 ] . 1397 – an emissary and his procession from the kingdom of Ryūkyū are received [ 4 ] .
