Carlo , Principe di Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg (in German: Karl VI, Prince of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg ; Haid kingdom of Bohemia, Austrian empire, 21 May 1834-Cologne, 8 November 1921), was a German nobleman, the Prince of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosparg (1849–1908), Catholic politician and subsequently Dominican monk. He was the first president of the Catholic Society of Germany (1868), and a member of the Reichstag since 1871 for the German center party.

Carlo was the third of the sons of Constantine, inherited Prince of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg (1802–1838), and of Princess Agnese of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (1804–1835). It was a descendant in the men’s line of Federico I, Palatine voter. He studied the law, and happened at the helm of the Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg family and in the title of Prince ( Prince ) in 1849.

He married his cousin in 1859, Princess Adelaide of Isenburg-Büdingen-Birstein (1841–1861), daughter of Prince Vittorio Alessandro of Isenburg-Büdingen-Birstein (1802-1843) and of Princess Maria of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg ( 1813-1879), from which she had a daughter:

After his death, he married Princess Sofia of Liechtenstein in Vienna in 1863. Sofia and Carlo had eight children:

After the death of his second wife, he became a member of the Dominican order with the name of Fr. Raymundus Maria in 1907, and lived in the monastery of Venlo in the Netherlands. He was ordained Catholic priest in 1908. The same year, he abandoned his title as prince and was succeeded by his son. [first]
