Mohamed Salmane , born the In Nabeul, is a Tunisian engineer and politician. He was Minister of Equipment from 2011 to 2014 in the Hamadi Jebali government and then the Ali Larayedh government. In this last government, he also supports the Ministry of the Environment.

He worked as director of major works to the company Tunisie Autoroutes before becoming CEO of the Tuniso-Libyan Arabic design office [ first ] .

Following the 2011 revolution, he was appointed Minister of Equipment in the government of Hamadi Jebali, succeeding Mohamed Ridha Farès, his counterpart in previous governments [ first ] . In the Ali Larayedh government, he keeps this portfolio and also supports that of the environment. He is a member of the Ennahdha party [ 2 ] . Chahida Ben Fraj Bouraoui is his Secretary of State for Habitat and Sadok Amri to the environment.
