Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of Uzbekistan (Sail: Uzstandard ) is the organization of national standardization of Uzbekistan.

Being a member of the international organization for normation (ISO), it is necessarily the only organization of national standardization (or NSB, from English ” National Standards Body “) which represents ISO in Uzbekistan. The current Uzstandard standardization organization was preceded by other standardization organizations, which followed each other according to the political-administrative changes of the Uzbekistan region.

In 1923, when Uzbekistan was part of the Turkestan Soviet Socialist Soviet Republic, the office for the measures and weights of Turkestan were established ( Turkestan Bureau for Measures and Weights ) and at the same time the verification chamber of measures and weights ( Verification Chamber for Measures and Weights ), located in the city of Tashkent, [2] that a year later was renamed in the room of the measures and weights of central Asia ( Central Asian Chamber for Measures and Weights ).
