Ahmed Hassan Mahmoud , in Arabic : Ahmed Hassan Mahjoub , born the In Cairo, is an Egyptian international footballer who plays in the center-forward in Alanyaspor, on loan from Olympiakos.

Large consumer of sodas, and in particular Coca-Cola, during his childhood, he has since been nicknamed “Koka” or “Kouka” [ 3 ] .

Ahmed Hassan Mahgoub, nicknamed “Koka”, joined the Al Ahly SC training center in 2010.

Rio Ave [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

Following his good performances with the youth teams, he was transferred to Europe to the Rio Ave FC. Integrated into the Portuguese club reserve, he was quickly summoned as a first team. Chaining the goals, he convinces coach Nuno Espírito Santo and stands out as the scorer of the team. He finished top scorer of the club with 8 goals having only played the second part of the season [ 4 ] .

During the 2014-2015 season, he was the author of a hat-trick on the lawn of the GD Estoril, then a double during the Academica reception of Coimbra. He is finishing this season with 12 league goals [ 5 ] .

During the 2015-2016 season, he scored two doubles in the championship, during the reception of the Academica de Coimbra, then when the arrival of his former club, the Rio Ave. He ends the season with 10 league goals [ 6 ] .

During this same season, he reached the quarterfinals of the Europa League, bowing against the Ukrainian club of Chakhtar Donetsk. Hassan Mahgoub scored three goals during this competition, two in the group phase, opposite FC Groningue and against Olympique de Marseille, and finally one last in the eighth against the Turkish club of Fenerbahçe [ 7 ] .

Hassan joined Olympiakos in the summer of 2018. Two injuries slows down his progression but returning from injury, he quickly won the attack on the attack thanks to his many goals in the Greek championship and in the Europa League.

With the Olympic selection, he participated in the African Cup of Nations under 23 in 2011. During this tournament, he played only one match, against Gabon. Egypt ranks third in this competition [ 8 ] .

With those under 20, he participated in the Junior African Cup of Nations in 2013. During this competition, he played two games against Mali. Egypt ranks third in the tournament. He then played a few months later the under -20 World Cup organized in Colombia. During this World Cup, he played two games, against Austria and Argentina. Egypt reaches the knockout stages of this World Cup [ 9 ] .

He then played the African Junior Nations Cup again in 2015. He played three games during this tournament. However, he did not compete in the semi-final won against Nigeria, nor the final won in goal against Ghana. A few months later, he again played the World Cup in the category organized in Turkey. During this World Cup, he was illustrated in the first match by delivering a assist against Chile. He then marks against Iraq and England [ 9 ] .

The coach of the Egyptian team A, Bob Bradley, then summons him for various friendly matches planned for the summer break following his performances at the World Cup under 20, 2013 and in club.

The , he scored his first goal with the Egypt team, during their first tenure, in a friendly at Uganda. Subsequently, he scored a friendly double against Zambia, then a new double against Chad, during the 2018 World Cup qualifiers [ ten ] .

In , he participated in the African Cup of Nations organized in Gabon. During this competition, he played only two games, against Mali in the group phase, then against Morocco in the quarter -final. The Egyptians reach the final of this competition, being beaten by Cameroon [ ten ] .

While he appears in a preliminary list of 29 players [ 11 ] , it is ultimately not included in the final list of 23 Egyptian players participating in the 2018 World Cup.
