L’ Air Force Life Cycle Management Center It is a center of acquisition of the Air Force Materiel Command armaments. His headquarters is located at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, in Ohio.

The Center manages the life cycle of each American Air Force weapon system, from its debut to its retreat. It provides for the global management of the armaments during their operational life, simplifies or consolidates the functions of the staff and processes the activities to limit their redundancy and emphasize their efficiency. The AFLCMC takes about 26,000 men between soldiers and civil staff in 10 main activities and in a dozen minor structures.
