L’ Archdiocese of Santo Domingo (in latino: Archdiocese of Saint Dominic ) is a metropolitan headquarters of the Catholic Church in the Dominican Republic. In 2020 it had 3,607,400 baptized out of 4,007,194 inhabitants. It is lined up by Archbishop Francisco Ozoria Acosta.

The Archdiocese includes the district Nacional, which corresponds to the center of the city of Santo Domingo, and the provinces of Santo Domingo and Monte Plata.

The first resident bishop of Santo Domingo was an Italian, Alessandro Geraldini, former bishop of Vulturara and Montecorvino, who took possession of the American headquarters in October 1519.
