• driving license of category B, normal and special.

The driving instructors of the driving schools must have the following requirements:

• age not less than 21 years;
• five -year high school diploma;
• not to have been declared a habitual criminal, professional or by trend and not to have been subjected to administrative personal or prevention security measures;
• driving license including:
  1. Categories A, B, C+E and D, with the exception of the special categories, for the instructors who carry out exercises for the achievement of the qualifications necessary for driving all motor vehicles and trailers, as well as for their review;
  2. Categories B, C+E and D, with the exception of special categories, for instructors who carry out exercises for the achievement of the qualifications necessary for driving all motor vehicles and trailers, with the exception of mopeds and motorcycles, as well as for their review;
  3. At least the special, special and special C categories B, for the instructors who must present the declaration of start of activity of an autoscuola.

• Having passed a theoretical and practical exam at one of the Italian provincial offices following the attendance of a preparatory course.

The premises of the Autoscuola and the automotive education centers, referred to in the decree 17/05/1995 – n. 317 ^[3] , at least include:

3) Light quadricycles whose empty mass is lower than or equal to 350 kg (category L6E), excluding the mass of batteries for electric vehicles, whose maximum construction speed is less than or equal to 45 km/h and whose displacement of the engine is lower than or equal to 50 cm³ for controlled ignition engines; or whose maximum net power is lower than or equal to 4 kW for other engines, with internal combustion; or whose nominal continuous power is maximum or equal to 4 kW for electrical engines;

A1:

1) maximum displacement motorcycles of 125 cm³, of maximum power of 11 kW and with a power/weight ratio not exceeding 0.1 kW/kg;

2) Tricycles of power not exceeding 15 kW;

A2:

power motorcycles not exceeding 35 kW with a power/weight ratio not exceeding 0.2 kW/kg and which are not derived from a version that develops beyond double the maximum power;

A:

1) Motorcycles, i.e. two -wheeled vehicles, without a carriage (category L3E) or with carriage (category L4E), equipped with an engine with a displacement of more than 50 cm³ if in internal combustion and/or a maximum speed per construction greater than 45 km/h;

2) tricycles of power greater than 15 kW, without prejudice to the provisions of article 115, paragraph 1, letter e), number 1) of the highway code;

B1:

Quadricycles other than those referred to in letter a), number 3), whose empty mass is less than or equal to 400 kg (category L7E) (550 kg for vehicles intended for the transport of goods), excluding the mass of the batteries for Electric vehicles, and whose maximum net power of the engine is less than or equal to 15 kW.

These vehicles are considered as tricycles and comply with the technical prescriptions applicable to the tricycles of category L5E unless otherwise ordered by specific community provisions.

B:

motor vehicles whose maximum authorized mass does not exceed 3500 kg and designed and built for the transport of no more than eight people in addition to the driver; To vehicles in this category can be hooked a trailer having a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 750 kg. To the vehicles of this category, a trailer can be hooked whose maximum authorized mass exceeding 750 kg, provided that the maximum authorized mass of this combination does not exceed 4250 kg. Complexes of vehicles composed of a motor category B and a trailer or semi -trailer: the latter must have a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 3500 kg.

C1:

vehicles other than those of categories D1 or D whose maximum authorized mass is greater than 3500 kg, but not exceeding 7500 kg, designed and built for the transport of no more than eight passengers, in addition to the driver; The vehicles of this category can be hooked a trailer whose maximum authorized mass is not exceeding 750 kg;

C1E:

1) Complexes of vehicles composed of a tractor falling in category C1 and a trailer or semi -trailer whose maximum authorized mass is greater than 750 kg, provided that the authorized mass of the complex does not exceed 12000 kg;

2) Complexes of vehicles composed of a tractor falling in category B and a trailer or semi -trailer whose authorized mass is greater than 3500 kg, provided that the authorized mass of the complex does not exceed 12000 kg.

C:

D1:

vehicles designed and built for the transport of no more than 16 people, in addition to the driver, and having a maximum length of 8 meters; To the motor vehicles in this category, a trailer can be hooked whose maximum authorized mass does not exceed 750 kg;

D1E:

Complexes of vehicles composed of a tractor falling in category D1 and a trailer whose maximum authorized mass is greater than 750 kg;

D:
