He was formed by singer Marq Torien and guitarist Mick Sweda in 1987. His first two albums, Bulletboys And Freakshow , met with commercial and critical success. Everyone has been sold more than a million copies. The group is often compared to Van Halen period David Lee Roth, because Marq Torien has a voice very close to “Diamond Dave” and the guitar game looks like that of Eddie Van Halen. Bulletboys producer, Ted Templeman, was also that of Van Halen period David Lee Roth. Bulletboys was trained in 1987 in Los Angeles, California [ first ] . The group is very inspired by AC\/DC and Van Halen [ first ] , [ 3 ] , and Torien has often been compared to the singer of Van Halen, David Lee Roth [ first ] , [ 3 ] . After having signed with the Warner Bros. label, the group publishes its first album BulletBoys in 1988, and reached the 34 It is place du Billboard 200 [ 4 ] . In 1993, following a very unconvincing third album, the group dissolved. In 1998, the group reformed, with Torien and came alongside the former drummer of the Guns N ‘Roses Steven Adler and the future guitarist of the Guns N’ Roses DJ Ashba [ 3 ] Briefly for an American tour with Faster Pussycat, Bang Tango and Enuff Z’Nuff [ 3 ] . In 1999, Ashba left the group to train Beautiful Creatures with Joe Lest\u00e9, and Adler left shortly after to train Adler’s Ap\u00e9tite in 2003 [ 6 ] . A compilation, entitled Burning Cats and Amputees , is published in 2000, at Deadline Records. They will release a new album in 2003 and the latest in 2009. Torien and Vincent publish the group’s fifth album, their first in seven years, entitled Sophie , in 2003, which involved the singer Sebastian Bach (Skid Row). A tour follows with L.A. Guns, but is canceled because of an incident with their bus driver [ 7 ] . Guitarist Keri Kelli, who replaced Tracii Guns within L.A. Guns, plays with the Bulletboys [ 7 ] . Jason Hook was, during this period, a member of the Bulletboys [ 8 ] . In 2004, Torien turned with Stephen Pearcy (ex-met), Joey Belladonna (ex-anthrax), Ron Keel (Keel, Iron Horse) and Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys, Watchtower) for the tour Bastards of Metal [ 9 ] . On August 28, 2011, Johnny Giosa died in a car accident in Los Angeles at the age of 42 [ ten ] .
