The Chavilbus was born on .

The , during the cessation of activities of the Gaubert cars, the network is taken up by Connex Salg. The following year, the quality of the two circuits were improved by the integration of school transport in the Chavilbus. The red circuit sees its frequencies reinforced during peak hours at 25 minutes and the establishment of high capacity bus during this same period. The circuits are modified to meet the request of users [ first ] .

The , the company CSTA-Keolis, which will become Keolis Yvelines the , resumes the exploitation of the Chavilbus in Connex [ 2 ] .

The , the network is equipped with a new bus fleet, the three vehicles of which comply with the last European recommendations. In addition, the terminus of the red circuit is postponed to the Chaville-Rive-Droite station [ 3 ] .

Starting the , the network benefits from significant strengthening [ 4 ] :

  • The blue circuit takes a new route in the Alby-Komitas circuit allowing a faster second pass to Chaville-Rive-Droite station. In addition, the hourly hourly amplitude is lying on the week of thirty minutes with a last visit to 19 h 48 ;
  • The red circuit sees its frequency clocked with a bus every thirty minutes for better readability of the schedule. Its time amplitude is extended during the week with a start of half an hour earlier, that is 6 h , and a last departure of an hour later in the evening, that is 20 h 55 . Finally, the circuit abandons the hook by the course of Gaulle;
  • A single circuit is set up on Saturday and summer with the merger of the two circuits. In addition, the frequency is clocked with a bus every 45 minutes. Finally, a service in the afternoon is created.

The , the Grand Paris Seine Public Territorial Establishment is created and succeeds the various existing intermunicipalities and has taken over the status of local organizing authority.

Towards the end of the 2010s, the exploitation of the Chavilbus was taken over by LCJ Autocars/Savac while Mobicity took over line 469 in Transdev Nanterre. In August 2019, Mobicity operated the new line 526, replacing the Monastery shuttle which itself was an chartered line of the RATP bus network.

The , lines 526 and Chavilbus Nord merge to become the GPSO Bus line while the Chavilbus Sud becomes the Chavilbus; Line 469 is simplified with a unique route [ 5 ] .

Chavilbus park history [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

The Chavilbus blue circuit has been equipped with lowered floor vehicles from the [ 9 ] .

In , the Chavilbus park then newly exploited by CSTA is refurbished with the commissioning of three vehicles: a GX 127 L ( n O 28) for the red line helped by a Quoted 12 ( n O 27) for rush hour, and a GX 127 ( n O 29) for the blue line. Vehicles have a specific livery to the Chavilbus network with commune patterns and the Chaville emblem: lily of the valley.

In , the Chavilbus park is again renewed with the commissioning of three vehicles replacing those purchased in 2007: a GX 127 L ( n O 35) for the red line helped by a Citaro C1.2 Facelift ( n O 33) for rush hour, and a GX 127 ( n O 34) for the blue line. The old vehicles find other assignments: the Quoted 12 ( n O 27) Part with the operator Keolis Vélizy, the GX 127 L ( n O 28) go to the operator Keolis Seine Val-de-Marne, and the GX 127 ( n O 29) is kept to ensure the reserve on the two lines of the Chavilbus. No livery is installed on new vehicles, that remaining on the GX 127 ( n O 29) being deleted.

In , reinforced hours during peak hours on the Red Line of the Chavilbus are deleted. THE Citaro C1.2 Facelift is then dismissed from the Chavilbus and reused for the SNCF replacement shuttles provided by Keolis Yvelines; He is, at the same time, renumoté ( n O  S24).

In , the Chavilbus park is once again renewed with the commissioning of two vehicles replacing those purchased in 2011: a GX 137 L ( n O 40) for the red line, and a City 23 ( n O 41) For the blue line. The old vehicles find other assignments: the GX 127 ( n O 34) joins his predecessor on GX 127 ( n O 29) to ensure the reserve of Chavilbus lines but also lines of the Phebus bus network in Saint-Cyr-l’École. THE GX 127 L ( n O 35) is parked awaiting resale.

In , the vehicles n O 40 and n O 41 receive the GPSO livery with images from the town of Chaville and the mention GPSO acts for the environment – Your Chavilbus Euro 6 .

The Chavilbus has in 2022 a GX 137 L Delivered IDFM and a Bluebus 22 Also in Dorted IDFM [ 8 ] .

Deposit [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

The mission of the deposit is to ensure preventive and curative maintenance of the equipment. Curative or corrective maintenance takes place when a breakdown or dysfunction is indicated by a machinist. Each operator uses its own installations.

Travelers information [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

Following the modernization of the network, new screens were installed in Chavilbus vehicles, supplemented by sound announcements to facilitate travel by travelers. The times of arrival at the next stops are displayed there, as well as the correspondence with the trains to the different stations in Chaville [ 4 ] .

All stops have been replaced for a better image of the network and thus facilitate their location. Certain terminals located at the most frequented points indicate the waiting time for the next passages.

From , Zenbus, a free service at any time, was made available to the public, designed by Joul. Downloadable on smartphone and internet, it allows travelers to follow the position of the bus in real time in the streets of the town, via a geolocation system of vehicles, in order to optimize the journey of users and to facilitate their trips [ 4 ] .

Pricing and financing [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

The line pricing is identical on all Ile -de -France bus networks and accessible with the same subscriptions. A T+ ticket allows a simple journey whatever the distance, with one or more possible correspondences with the other bus and tram lines for a maximum duration of first h 30 min between the first and last validation. On the other hand, a ticket validated on a bus does not allow you to borrow the metro or the RER. The Orlybus and Roissybus lines, ensuring airport services, have specific pricing but are accessible with the usual subscriptions.

The lines belong to the Grand Paris Seine Western public establishment (GPSO) which received, in 2010, a delegation of competence from the STIF for a few urban lines of the GPSO territory. The establishment finances the operation and operation of lines in accordance with a contract concluded with an operating company. Part of this funding is covered by Ile -de -France pricing paid by travelers. However, the prices of tickets and subscriptions, the amount of which is limited by political decision do not cover the real transport costs. The shortfall is compensated by the organizing authority, here GPSO, made up of local elected officials. It defines the general operating conditions as well as the duration and frequency of services.

In order to improve the image of the Chavilbus network, new posts are gradually installed throughout the network in 2016. These will have better readability of time information and certain terminals will display the waiting time before the next time vehicles [ 4 ] .

Provenance of data [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

The line opening dates, rolling stock and center-bus come from the Siloé site [ ten ] . The duration of the course and the number of stops are calculated from the time sheets of Vallée Sud Grand Paris [ 11 ] , as well as the days of operation, the moments of the day (day, night, parties) and the particularities. Finally, the areas crossed and the accessibility of the line and the stops served come from the plans of the South Grand Paris valley lines.

Explanation of a few [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

The number of stops is, in the tables, the sum of the stops with different denominations, whether they are served in one or both directions of traffic.

THE Time amplitudes are given according to the following principle: when the time sheet displays the schedules of passing to important stops, it goes from the departure time of the first bus of the earliest line, all departure stops combined, at the time of Arrival of the last bus to the latest terminus, all terminus combined. When the hourly sheet shows only the first and last departures as well as the frequencies, it goes from the departure time of the first earliest bus, all departure stops combined, at the time of departure of the last bus most Late, all departure stops combined. The schedules communicated are rounded to the near 5 minutes. The time amplitudes are based on winter schedules unless otherwise stated.
