This item collects the information regarding the Lecco football association In the official competitions of the season 1969-1970 .

In the 1969-1970 season, Lecco disputes group A of the Serie C championship, obtains 53 points and the second place in the standings, four lengths from Novara that climbs to Serie B, relegate to Serie D the Marquis of Valdagno, the Treviso area e The Biellese.

After more than twenty years of Serie A and Serie B, for Lecco it is hard to get back to the Rudi fields of the C series. The Bluceleste present themselves for this Serie C season with a new president Giuseppe Martini, and also a new coach Luciano Lupi , start among the favorites of the tournament and are confirmed at the top of the group throughout the championship, but in the long run they are forced to give way to Novara. With a single planned promotion, Lecco does not achieve the goal of prompt ascent between the cadets, while playing a sumptuous tournament. As in the old days, Rigamonti remains unbeaten, even outside the house it is good with six wins, the problem is only that Novara manages to do better than Lecco. The best seasonal scorer Bluceleste was the Milanese Giovanni Pedroni, a center forward arrived from Triestina, with nine goals in the championship.
