Many pilots opted for the mandatory tire change in the first lap, while Sato waited up to two laps from the end, winning the victory with wide margin. [27]

Weekend in Marrakech [ change | Modifica Wikitesto ]

The poleman Sergio Campana has maintained command of the race at the start, keeping it up to pit stop . Returning to the track, he found himself behind two drivers who had not yet made him.

Returning to the top in the last laps he has undergone the breaking of the radiator, with consequent loss of oil on the track. Campana was however capable of surviving Daniël de Jong. In third place, Kimiya Satō ranked, but penalized a minute for making the pit stop mandatory on the last lap, which is not provided for by the regulation. However, this penalty was contested by his team. The ranking remains like this under the judge . [28]

In race 2 he leaves on pole Luciano Bacheta. The Englishman holds their heads, while four cars came into contact: they had to retire, Sergio Campana, Giuseppe Cipriani and Riccardo Agostini. To remove Cipriani and Agostini’s cars, it was necessary to enter the track of the safety-car who neutralized the race in the third lap. Antonio Spavone was found in his head, who had anticipated the pit stop . But Spavone closed the race after a contact with Andrea Roda. Thus he returned to lead, until the end, a boot. [29]

Weekend dell’hungaroring [ change | Modifica Wikitesto ]

Kimiya Satō, third party, is immediately first found, passing in the first meters both Vittorio Ghirelli and Tamás Pál Kiss. Silverstone weekend [ change | Modifica Wikitesto ]

Race 1 is won by Kevin Jupiter, which however is penalized by one minute for making the mandatory pit stop on the last lap, an event not foreseen by the regulation. The race is thus attributed to Narain Karthikeyan, an Indian driver with long experience in F1, who started from pole position . Karthikeyan had led the race to his tire change, when he had been surpassed by Jupiter. Vittorio Ghirelli was classified in second place, who after being fifth at the start of the race, with two overtaking on Antonio Roda and Tamás Pál Kiss, had managed to take third place. [32]

Race 2 sees the impossibility of Fabrizio Crestani to start from the grid; Its single -seater is brought to the Pit lane , and the race is reduced to thirteen laps, given the need to re -establish the starting procedure. The victory went to Kimiya Satō, while Narain Karthikeyan, fourth, was penalized by 30 seconds for an overtaking carried out in the yellow flag regime. [5]
