Christian de Metter , born the In Île-de-France, is a French comic book author.

He studied In an advertising drawing school [Which ?] And starts in comics after working as a designer in the rock press. His first BD series is called Emma ; It is first published by Triskel editions ( ) then reissued by Sun Productions. We owe him other series such as Dusk , published by Les Humanoïdes Associés, or Swinging London .

He received the public prize from the Angoulême International Comic Festival for Le Sang Des Valentines , with Catel Muller, in .

In , he achieves an adaptation of the Best Seller of Dennis Lehane, Shutter Island , for which he receives the prize for comic book bookstores (BD channel) in as well as the BDME MOR VRAN Prize by the jury of the Festival of the Novel and the BD black and police. The same year, he received the Grand Prix of the Festival of Planches and Cows for the whole of his work.

In – , he participated in the literary prize for high school students and apprentices in Burgundy. He won this award in the BD category.
