Born April 14, 1989 In Engelberg, in the canton of Obwald, Denise Feierabend made her debut in FIS races in 2004, before participating in her first European Cup test in January 2006.

On February 8, 2008, she became Swiss junior champion of special slalom in Sörenberg and, seven days later, she took the start of a World Cup event for the first time during the Zagreb slalom. Part with bib 54, she manages to score her first points ^{[ Note 1 ]} , finishing in eighteenth place.

At the start of the 2008-2009 season, she finished the Levi slalom in thirteenth place, which constitutes, for three years, her best World Cup result in this discipline. During the same season, she managed to win a place among the first twenty of a special slalom test. In February 2009, she even managed to hang the sixth place in the special slalom of the world championships in Val-d’Isère. A few days later, she won her first special European Cup slalom in Zakopane ^{[ first ]} , before becoming, the first ^is March 2009, special junior champion of special slalom in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ^{[ 2 ]} . At the end of this season, it ends seventeenth in the final classification of the European Cup and in third place in the European Slalom Cup ^{[ 3 ]} . That year, she was appointed by the Swiss Sports Aid Foundation, best female hope ^{[ 4 ]} .

Denise Feierabend only scoring points in the World Cup twice, in super-combined, during the 2009-2010 season ^{[ 5 ]} , she is forced to return to the European Cup in the second half of the season. It finishes in the twenty-fourth place in the general classification of the European Cup and, in particular, in sixth place in the classification of the European Cup of Super G ^{[ 3 ]} . During this season, she obtained a podium during the round of Super G in Saint Moritz ^{[ 6 ]} .

During the 2010-2011 season, she entered the points nine times, with, like best result, two fourteenth place, in Val-d’Isère in super-combined and Zagreb in special special slalom ^{[ 7 ]} . Thanks to two places in the first fifteen in slalom, she qualified for her second world championships. Aligned in three disciplines, she won the sixth place in the super combined, the twenty-first of the special slalom and the thirty-fifth of the giant slalom ^{[ 8 ]} . On March 24, 2011, she won her first medal in the Swiss championship, finishing second in the super combined, behind Marianne Kaufmann-Abderhalden ^{[ 9 ]} .

Denise Feierabend won, on January 13, 2012, her second European Cup test, winning the super G of Bad Kleinkirchheim ^{[ ten ]} . A few days later, she managed to win her first top 10 in the World Cup with a sixth place in the Super Combined in Saint Moritz. Five weeks later, she was injured in the cross ligaments of the knee during training in Ofterschwang and had to end her season ^{[ 11 ]} . Despite her injury, she finished in the twenty-eighth place in the slalom World Cup and seventh row of the Super Combined World Cup ^{[ twelfth ]} .

On November 16, 2013, she returned to the World Cup by winning a tenth row during Levi’s special slalom ^{[ 13 ]} . She later participated in the winter in the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, finishing twelfth in the super combined and seventeenth of the slalom.

At the 2017 world championships, she obtained her best result in the big championship by ranking fourth in the handset and also ninth in slalom.

She won a gold medal in the 2018 Olympic Games team event, before putting an end to her career following the Swiss championships ^{[ 14 ]} .
