Eduardo Michelle Núñez Mendez Mindez (Born June 15, 1987 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) is a player of utility of the major baseball league.

Núñez can evolve in several positions in the inner field as well as in the outside field [ first ] . In 2016 and 2017, he evolves as a third goal player and left from the left of the Giants of San Francisco [ 2 ] .

In 2016, he was invited for the first time to the star match, where he was his team at the time, the Minnesota Twins.

In 2010, when he evolved with the Yankees of Scranon, aaa level club level of the New York training, Núñez was elected within the stars of the International League [ 3 ] .

On August 19, 2010, minor leagues were recalled by New York Yankees after they placed the name of Lance Berkman on the list of wounded players [ 4 ] . In 2013, he came into play in 90 parts of the Yankees, mainly at the Copstrame where he replaced Derek Throw, injured. Núñez strikes for, 260 with 3 circuits, 28 products produced and 10 stolen goals. He equaled his personal record of 38 points scored in a year, a total identical to that of the 2011 season.

On April 7, 2014, the Yankees exchanged Eduardo Núñez at the Minnesota Twins for the left -handed launcher of minor leagues Miguel Sulbaran [ ten ] .

After an excellent first half of the 2016 season, Núñez is invited to represent the Twins in the Star Match.

Giants of San Francisco [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

On July 28, 2016, the Giants of San Francisco acquired Eduardo Núñez in order to replace Matt Duffy as the third goal player, and they give in to the Twins the left launcher Adalberto Mejía [ 11 ] .

In 2017, the promotion of Christian Arroyo among the giants combined with a low production of left field players encourages the team to have Núñez played in this last position and to install Arroyo in the third goal [ 2 ] .

On July 26, 2017, the Giants of San Francisco exchanged Núñez to the Red Sox of Boston for the right -handers of the minor leagues Shaun Anderson and Gregory Santos [ twelfth ] .
