The European Trophy 2011 is the second edition of the European Trophy, an ice hockey tournament starting during the pre-season.

Twenty-four teams participate instead of eighteen until now. The Czech and Slovak teams appear in the competition while the Swiss and Norwegian teams have withdrawn.

He argues from 11 to . It is organized in four divisions – east, west, north and south – from 5 to six teams. The first two of each pool are qualified for the eliminatory tournament named Red Bulls Salute. The Red Bull is automatically qualified for the Red Bulls Salute, it therefore takes one of the two qualifying places in the western division, whatever its ranking.
