François-Pierre de Rigaud de Vaudreuil , born the in Montreal (Canada, New France) and deceased on In Muides-sur-Loire, Château de Colliers [ 2 ] is a French politician who was governor of Trois-Rivières and Governor of Montreal in New France [ 3 ] .

François-Pierre de Rigaud de Vaudreuil is the brother of Pierre de Rigaud de Vaudreuil de Cavagnial, last governor of New France. He was the fifth son of Philippe, first Marquis de Vaudreuil, and Louise-Élisabeth by Joybert de Soulanges and de Marson.
