THE first is July 1970 , when filming Gendarme on a ride , Louis de Fun\u00e8s is officially received by the 405 It is anti-aircraft artillery regiment in Hy\u00e8res, which makes it “first honor class” for services rendered to the national gendarmerie [ 47 ] , [ 48 ] . The Saint-Tropez gendarme [ modifier | Modifier and code ]  The former gendarmerie of Saint-Tropez which served as a decor for the first five films. Thanks to the loyal services rendered to an unnamed municipality of the Hautes-Alpes [ 52 ] , [ 53 ] , where he was so far in office, Ludovic Cruchot, simple marshal of the gendarmerie houses, is transferred to the Var, in Saint-Tropez while being promoted marshal of the logis-chef. Arrived at the scene of his new assignment, Cruchot participates in the vain and repetitive hunts with nudists organized by his superior, adjutant Gerber, while for his part his daughter Nicole, who was formerly bored to die in his village, is dazzled by the luxury of its new city. But, not being able to be accepted by the young bourgeois of the seaside resort, she invents a wealthy fictitious father: he would be a billionaire, would have a yacht in this city and would be called Archibald Ferguson, that she would never have met. Constrained by Nicole and well in spite of himself, Cruchot will find himself at the heart of the merry -go -round of her daughter, who will mix him with his story and thereby, in search of a stolen rebellion (at the Annonciade Museum), when The latter’s friends will try to meet him. However, he will try and by all means to preserve his official identity intact in view of his adjutant and his colleagues. The gendarme in New York [ modifier | Modifier and code ]  The gendarmes of Saint-Tropez were chosen to represent France during an international gendarmerie congress in New York. After a trip to the ocean liner, they land in Manhattan. Soon, Cruchot believes to see her daughter Nicole everywhere … And for good reason: this one, eager to discover the “New World”, embarked on the ship as a clandestine passenger, without his father. Being arrested by customs on her arrival, Nicole is approached by a journalist with whom she pretends to be an orphan eager to discover America. Moved, and thinking of drawing a beautiful article from this story, the journalist takes it under his wing. Cruchot and its brigade discover New York, except Fougasse who, who fell ill during the crossing, was hospitalized and who will stay there until the end of the stay (they discover after several days of examination that he was the victim of an allergy to sea birds. And when he wants to join the others, he breaks his leg). Everyone ends up believing that Cruchot is crazy and has hallucinations believing to see Nicole everywhere. He will then have all the sorrows of the world, especially with the American police who are looking for his daughter, to bring in her without goring and the others seeing her. Gerber will however discover the truth when they return to Saint-Tropez and promise Cruchot that it will cost him dearly. Cruchot and his colleagues will discover that these extraterrestrials are made of metal, that they “sound hollow” when they are hit and that they drink oil … The first gendarme to see the saucer is a new man named Beaupied but nobody takes him seriously … until Cruchot does it in turn and that extraterrestrials come into contact with him to state their allegedly peaceful intentions. Cruchot Moleste Gerber and the Colonel by taking them for extraterrestrials and is put at stops. He escapes and begins to track down the extraterrestrials and seek proof of their existence to present to his superiors. This hunt and the misunderstandings that she induces attract the wrath of Jos\u00e9pha. Finally, the gendarmes discover the weakness of the extraterrestrials: they rust in contact with the water. They tend them a trap with a false saucer as a bait. The existence of the brigade being endangered by these kidnappings whose reason seems inexplicable, our gendarmes will deploy in the danger of their lives, treasures of ingenuity to find these women whose custody they had.
