Jonathan Fumeaux , born the In Sion, is a Swiss cycling runner, professional between 2013 and 2017.
Youth and amateur career [ modifier | Modifier and code ]
Jonathan Fumeaux begins cycling at the age of thirteen, in the sedun cyclophile [ first ] .
In 2008, he was a member of BMC-Seppey Teker Hottinger, reserve of the BMC professional team [ 2 ] .
In 2009, during his third and last year in the Hopes category, he decided to join the CC Studies, French club, believing that running in this country will allow him to progress more [ first ] , [ 3 ] . During this year, he won the GP of Bohas, is regular and to its advantage in the mountains [ first ] . In 2010, he won the Spring Criterium [ 4 ] . With the Swiss Espoirs team, he is third as a stage at the Portugal Grand Prix, seventh stage of the future.
In 2011, he joined the continental team Atlas Personal. At the start of the year, he won a stage of the Chantal Biya Grand Prix, Cameroon. He ranks third in the Giro del Mendrisiotto, seventh in the triptych of mountains and castles, ninth of the Plumelec-Morbihan Grand Prix. In 2012, he won the last stage of the Alsace Tour, at the Ballon d’Alsace [ 5 ] .

Jonathan Fumeaux became a professional runner in 2013 in the new Swiss team IAM [ 6 ] . He made his debut with this team during the Qatar round [ 6 ] . During this first year, it is in particular eighth in the Grand Prix of the canton of Argovie, the Tour of Luxembourg, the Tour du Jura. In 2014, he played the Tour of Spain, his first big round [ 7 ] . At the end of the season, the contract which links it to IAM is extended by one year [ 8 ] .
In , he became Swiss road champion. Solist, he won 44 seconds ahead of his pursuers. The IAM team disappears at the end of the season. Jonathan Fumeaux is committed to 2017 with the Swiss continental team Roth-Akros [ 9 ] .
He ended his runner career after the 2017 season [ ten ] .
