JYOTHIKA SADANAH (born ) generally simply known as Jyothika (in pendjabi: Jyotica , en marathhe et en No: No: Jyotika , in Tamil: Jodhika ), is an Indian actress who especially played in Indian films in Tamil (Kollywood). She also played in some Hindi films (Bollywood), Kannada, Telougou and Malayalam.
She made her debut in Bollywood in the Hindi film, Doli Saja Ke Rakhna (1998). She played in her first Tamil film Electoral (1999) and Du Telougou, Tagore (2003).
Jyothika has obtained complimentary criticism for his interpretations in Who (2000), Sneakie (2000) , Kaakha kaakha (2003) , Perazhagan (2004) , Chandramukhi (2005) ET Mozhi (2007) . She won three Filmfare Awards South and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards . She also won a prize Pahemior In 2005. From 1999 to 2007, she was one of the most popular Tamil cinema actresses and having had the greatest success in her time.
She made a return to the cinema with the film, 36 Vayadhinile (2015) where his performance received good reviews. She received the Filmfare Critics Award from the best actress from the South. Jyothika is also classified among the best actresses in South India by The Times of India.
Jyothika was born from a Punjabi father and a Maharashtrian mother. His father is Chander Sadanah, a film producer and his mother is Seema Sadanah. Actress Nagma is her half-sister. She also has another sister Roshini (née Radhika) also actress and a brother Suraj, who works as deputy director for Priyadarshan.
She finished her studies at the Learner’s Academy in Mumbai. She then specialized in psychology at College Mithibai.
Jyothika married the actor Suriya , with whom she played in seven films; Poovellam Kettuppar , Uyirile kalanthathu , Kaakha kaakha , Perazhagan , Maayavi , June R And Sillunu oru kaadhal . The couple has two children, a diya girl (born the ) and a son dev (born on ).
