Karin Slaughter , born In the state of Georgia, is an American writer, author of detective novel and thriller.

Born in a small community of Georgia, she currently lives in Atlanta.

It is given the creation in 2006 of the term “investigoogling” [ first ] .

His first detective novel, Blind dead ( Blindsighted ), published in 2001, became a bestseller translated in around thirty languages. Grant County, where many of his novels take place, is a totally imaginary place, inspired by the author by the combination of small towns of his childhood [ 2 ] .
