Kathy Dauthuille , born In Arras, is a French newist, poet and novelist.

His work brings together different cultures, mythologies, spiritualities and philosophies.

From the age of eight, she began to write after hearing a radio program on Marceline Desbordes-Valmore. Daughter of the painter André Dauthuille, she follows her schooling in Pas-de-Calais and then continued her higher education at the French Institute in Madrid. Licensed and holder of a master’s degree in Spanish, she continues her course in Lille to prepare a doctoral thesis on Henri Bosco that she supports the . She also met the writer in 1973.

She began to teach in Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise where she met the poet Jeanne Maillet who directed the Ternois poetic circle of which she became a member in turn and was received at the Rosti Society In 1978.

In love with nature, Kathy Dauthuille sponsors a oak in “The Forest of the Thousand Poets”.
