Lindsay Whalen , born In Hutchinson in Minnesota, is an American basketball player. Double finalist of the WNBA championship in 2004 and 2005, she once obtained a nomination in the first five of the League, also named All WNBA First Team , and participate in several All-Star Game Wnba. She also plays in the jersey of the United States team with which she obtained the title of 2010 World Champion.

Lindsay Whalen, born in Minnesota in 1982, is the eldest daughter of a family of five children whose parents are Neil and Kathy Whalen [ 3 ] . She performs her high school at Hutchinson High School where she obtained a selection during her four years in the team of the Missota Conference [ 4 ] . She then chose to stay in Minnesota for her university studies: she joined the University of Minnesota where she evolves with the Golden Gophers.
