Marie-Hélène Fortin is a Quebec violinist and singer (Canada).

Marie-Hélène Fortin is from Saguenay. She was born on June 15, 1970 . She is in a long time couple with Stéphane Archambault. They have a son, Clovis, born in April 2004 and a girl, Jeanne, born in May 2012 .

From 4 to 12 years old, she learns the violin. She studied at the University of Quebec in Montreal in 1990 and in 1991, then at the National School of Theater of Canada where she graduated in 1995. She took courses of votes and microphone with Danièle Panneton at Conservatory of dramatic art In 2006-2007.

At the National Theater School, she studied Wushu, a martial art. She also took several dance lessons: classical dance, jazz, modern dance, etc.

Marie-Hélène Fortin is violinist and singer within the group My ancestors Since 1996. She has participated in more than 400 shows, festivals, TV services.

In 2018, she was elected advisor to siege 1 by the city of the city of Rosemère and teams up with the new mayor, Eric Westram. ^{[ first ]}
