Mathieu Madénian , born the At 2:00 p.m. in Perpignan, is a French humorist, actor and columnist. He has carried out numerous chronicles on the radio, on Europe 1, as well as on television, on France 2, France 4, C8 and W9.

His father, a tire seller, is of Armenian origin; His mother has German roots and exercises the profession of social worker [ first ] . Mathieu Madénian grew up in Saleilles, a city in the suburbs of Perpignan, where he obtained his scientific baconent Bac, then a DEA in criminal sciences and a DESS (specialized higher education diploma) in criminal psychiatry [ 2 ] . At 25, after practicing the profession of lawyer, he left his job to turn to comedy [ 3 ] , [ 4 ] .

He began an actor career in the series A boy a girl . Between 2000 and 2003, he played various voices off there [ 3 ] . He embodies different characters (passing, motorist, professor, customer, pilot, vacationer, etc.) by being physically present but very often filmed from behind. Then, he wrote several one-man-shows directed by Kader Aoun, where he performed in particular at the Théâtre du Point-Virgule [ 5 ] , then at the Théâtre Trevise until March 2012 and on tour until December 2014.

From 2010 to 2011, he intervened in The big direct media by Jean-Marc Morandini on Europe 1 [ 6 ] . From up to , Mathieu Madénian also participates in the entertainment program Strongly next Sunday Presented by Michel Drucker and broadcast on France 2. He holds a humorous chronicle alternating with Anne Roumanoff, Nicolas Canteloup or Éric Antoine [ 7 ] , [ 4 ] . He became in September 2011 until Chronicler in the show Get the guest Michel princker Sur European 1 [ 8 ] .

In , during a program Morandini! On Direct 8, he treats the voters of the National Front of “Son of Pute”. Having in no way argued that the disputed remarks would have been humorous, he was sentenced to pay 1,000 euros in damages to the party and 1,500 euros for legal costs [ 9 ] .

From , he collaborates in Charlie Hebdo where he published a weekly column there. He escapes the attack on From Charlie Hebdo, he had to go to the editorial staff that day, but did not come for unavailability [ ten ] .

He participates in the video Imagine Paris , where, with around thirty other youtubers, he resumes Imagine by John Lennon [ 11 ] .

From 2016, he created a humorous pastille with his friend Thomas VDB entitled The message of Madénian and VDB first broadcast in the program Actuality On France 2, then for W9 from March 2017 after a lozenge dealing with Fillon and Le Pen affairs was refused by France 2 [ twelfth ] , [ 13 ] .

From 2018 to 2020, he plays in the series Red bracelets (3 seasons broadcast on TF1). From 2019, it presents Paname generation , program broadcast on France 2 which introduces young stand-up artists [ 14 ] .

The , The Youtube Copycomic account, an anonymous stand-up amateur, publishes a comparative video showing, according to him, various Mathieu Madianian borrows from several North American and European comedians like Sugar Sammy, Thomas N’Gijol, Malik Bentalha, Gad Elmaleh, Dave Chappelle, Tony Saint Laurent, Mademoiselle Dalila, Arthur or Elvira Kurt [ 15 ] , [ 16 ] .
