Several browsers support the MHTML format, either directly or thanks to extensions. However, the way of saving a page and its resources is not standardized, which can cause compatibility problems when you want to read with a browser an MTML file created by another browser.

However, these extensions may encounter incompatibility problems with Internet Explorer .MHT files [ 5 ] .

In the years 2010+, (and perhaps before), the ‘Android’ versions’ read and write ‘natively’ the format ‘.mht’.

Google Chrome, Safari, Konqueror [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

Safari and Konqueror offer no native support for the MHTML format.

Google Chrome 14 offers its support from , as well as Google Chrome Canary and the engine WebKit since .

ACCESS NetFront [ modifier | Modifier and code ]
