The club was founded on under the name of FC 1907 Offenburg . The club played in a place called Schiellenwiese . He chooses red and white for colors.

After the end of the Second World War, the circle was dissolved by the Allies, like all German clubs and associations (see article: Directive n°23 . The club was reconstructed in March 1946 under its name before the war (Offenburger FV 1907 ‘).
