Phillip DeWayne Walters (Born March 12, 1985 in Dothan, Alabama, United States) is a right-handers of the major baseball league.

After secondary studies at the Faith Academy High School of Mobile (Alabama), P. J. Walters follows higher education at the University of South Alabama where he carries the colors of South Alabama Jaguars from 2004 to 2006 [ first ] .

He was drafted on June 6, 2006 by the Cardinals of Saint-Louis at the eleventh selection round [ 2 ] And signed his first professional contract on June 19, 2006.

Walters spends three seasons in minor leagues before making his debut in the major league with Saint-Louis on April 17, 2009 against the Cubs of Chicago, while he is the launcher from his team to Wrigley Field. He subsequently performs seven other outings, all over it with Saint-Louis during the season [ 3 ] , finishing the year with a total of 16 rounds launched at the major level, an average deserved points of 9.56 and 14 withdrawals on sockets.

Father of a premature daughter in February 2010 [ 4 ] , Walters still evolves mainly in minor leagues in 2010. It only performs seven appearances in the major league, including three as a starting launcher and recorded its first success at the highest level on May 27 against the Padres de San Diego [ 5 ] . At the end of the season, on September 29, he signed his second victories by launching seven white sleeves, granting only three strokes of the Pittsburgh Pirates strikers [ 6 ] .

Walters only plays one game for Toronto.

Having become a free agent after the 2011 season, he signed in December a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins [ 8 ] . It appears in 12 parts of the Twins in 2012, each time as a starting launcher.
