Paul Angerer studied the theory of music and the composition with Friedrich Reidinger and Alfred Uhl, and the orchestra management with Hans Swoodky [ 2 ] . At the start of his career, he belonged to the alto desk of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, that of the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra and the Orchestra of French -speaking Switzerland then he was soloist alto ‘Vienna Symphony Orchestra from 1953 to 1957. Angerer began to direct the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and Orchestras in Bonn and Ulm. From 1967 to 1972, he was the main leader of the Salzburg Opera Theater (Salzburger Landestheater (of) ) and then of the Pforzheim Chamber Orchestra from 1971 to 1982. In 1982, Angerer began to drive the concilium musicum wien which he founded the same year and obtained a professor’s place at the Academy of Music and Vienna show arts from 1982 to 1992. Paul Angerer received the Austrian Grand Prix in 1953 for his Music for viola alone [ 3 ] , [ 4 ] .
