Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya (En Hindi: Love to be afraid, en français: Make love ) is a Bollywood film directed by Sohail Khan in 1998. It is a romantic comedy with Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Kajol and Dharmendra. Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan are brothers in life. He also played in Dabangg with Sonakshi Sinah in 2010. And also in Hello Brother in 1995.

Following the death of their parents, Muskaan (Kajol) and his brother Vishal (Arbaaz Khan) were raised in the countryside by their uncle and aunt. Muskaan is today a charming young girl who wishes to study in Mumbai. Despite his fears of seeing his sister lost in this big city, his brother accepts and accompanies him to his university where he meets the president (Tiku Talsania) to ensure the seriousness of the establishment and the well-being of Muskaan. This receives many marriage proposals from good families but Vishal rejects them all after the other. He makes each pretender undergo a test: the turn of his property on horseback but which turns into drama each time … Only the one who will succeed in the test can marry Muskaan. When the latter falls in love with Suraj Khanna (Salman Khan) met at university, she presents it to her family and Vishaal submits him to her test but Suraj fails. Vishaal then wants Muskaan to marry the brother of Thakur Vijay Singh (Aashif Sheikh) without knowing that Thakur Vijay Singh (Nirmal Pandey) only wishes this union in order to take revenge on Muskaan’s family for a dispute that the two families had had a long time ago …

Muskaan (Kajol) is an orphan living on a farm led by his too protective older brother, Vishal (Arbaaz Khan) and their “chachu” (Dharmendra). Muskaan’s childhood friend, Ujaala (Anjala Zaveri), has a torch for the Maussade Vishal since childhood, but he will not give her the time of the day. Later, Muskaan decides that she wants to go to a university in Mumbai and must persuade her brother to let her go. Once in the big city, Suraj (Salman Khan), an ineffective student, who does not get along with his mother-in-law and is separated from his father, falls in love with Muskaan. After a few attempts to play with Muskaan and try to draw his attention, Suraj finally succeeds and Muskaan falls in love with him. One day, when Vishal comes to visit Muskaan, he is wrongly considered to be his boyfriend by Suraj and his group of friends. They therefore try to fight Vishal but are rather beaten. Suraj later learns from Muskaan that Vishal is his brother and he apologizes to Muskaan and Vishal for having beaten him. But Vishal does not like Suraj because his terms and conditions of his future brother-in-law are very physically painful and he thinks that Suraj is neither competent nor a man to take seriously. And he decides to bring Muskaan back to the farm, feeling Suraj’s bad influence on his studies. Suraj continues it and begins to work on the farm as a stable boy after a fortuitous meeting with “chachu” in which he saves the life of Chachu. Vishal gives another chance to Suraj and puts him to the test; However, he is rejected. Vishal wants Muskaan to marry the brother of Thakur Vijay Singh, not knowing that Thakur Vijay Singh does this simply to take revenge on the Thakur family for an earlier humiliation that his own family has suffered. So, Suraj must now prevent it from happening and he must also be able to win Vishal’s heart if he is really interested in marrying Muskaan. Chachu is half shocked to know the reason why Suraj came to this village. Finally, Suraj’s friends talked about this village to Suraj’s family. Suraj’s family comes. Suraj’s mother-in-law insult Muskaan, who fled but she accidentally meets the Singh family and their henchmen. Suraj, Suraj’s father, Vishal and his chachu arrive and save Muskaan. Despite the injuries, Suraj’s mother-in-law calls the police because she is now careful about Suraj. Vishal accepts Suraj as his future brother-in-law.
