The 1973-1974 season of the Romanian football championship is here 56 It is edition of the first Romanian division. The championship brings together for the first time the 18 best teams in the country in a single hen, where each club meets all its opponents twice, at home and outside.

It is the Universitatea Craiova club which ends at the top of the championship and won the first title of champion of Romania in its history.
