Simsala Grimm is a German animation television series in 52 25 -minute episodes, created by Claus Clausen, Stefan Beiten and André Sikojev and broadcast in two phases: between the and the , then from Sur ki.ka.

In France, the series was broadcast from the on France 5 in Midi les zouzous then on Tiji and rebroadcast on this same channel from In Zouzous .

Simsala Grimm is an adaptation of the Grimm brothers’ tales published at the start of XIX It is century.

Two strange animals, Yoyo and Doc Croc, present the legendary tales of the Grimm brothers. The two companions participate in the course of the plot and lend a hand to the various protagonists. Each episode is adapted from different tales of the Grimm brothers ( Little Red Riding Hood ), some other come from Charles Perrault ( The Botté cat ), d’Andersen ( The little Mermaid ), of the Thousand and one Night ( Aladin ), or English popular tale ( Jack and the magic bean ).

The two friends participate in the course of each plot to help the different characters.
