The Supersport World Championship 2018 It is the twentieth edition of the Supersport World Championship.

The Piloti title was won, in his debut season in this championship, by Sandro Cortese, with a Yamha Yzf-R6 of the Finnish team Kallio Racing. Cortese gets two wins out of twelve races on the calendar and, thanks to a certain constancy in the placements, the closest of the pursuers, the French Lucas Madias, detaches twenty -three points. Third Jules Cluzel who gets the most seasonal victories.

Among the manufacturers, Yamaha prevails that wins all the races on the calendar and detaches the most direct of the competitors of one hundred and sixty -two points: the Italian MV Agusta. Third place for Honda who gets a single seasonal podium in Portugal.

All competing motorcycles are equipped with tires provided by Pirelli. Together with the drivers who contribute for the Supersport World Cup, there are some drivers (indicated in the table as pilots of the “ESS class”) which contribute to the European Cup (therefore they are registered only to the GP courses in European territory).
