Top Gear episodes – Wikipedia

THE episodes of the show Top Gear , produced by the BBC, were, as of the 8 mars 2015 , 176 in 22 seasons. The program, lasting about an hour, was presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and the Stig. Used cars Jason Dawe was a co -speaker in the first season, but was replaced by James May in the second season.

In addition to the “regular” episodes, there are nine special episodes shot each time in a certain country or a certain region of the world: United States (season 9), Botswana (season 10), Vietnam (season 12), Bolivia ( Season 14), Middle East (season 16), India (season 18), Africa (season 19), Burma (season 21) and Patagonia (season 22); and two off-season episodes Top Gear Winter Olympics And Top Gear: Polar Special . In addition, two short charitable episodes were produced: Top Gear of the Pops (for the “Red Nose Day”), and Top Ground Gear Force (for sport relief). These two episodes do not appear in the official count of the episodes.

Following the dismissal of Jeremy Clarkson and the resignation of Richard Hammond and James May, the series lost half of the viewers (5 million at the start, there are only 2 million today).

Most of these viewers left for Amazon Prime Video, a platform on which the three ex-presenters launched their new program: The Grand Tour.
