Bath is a group of American post-bass, from Boston, in Massachusetts.

Beginnings (2004–2005) [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

The group was trained in December 2004 by guitarists Nicholas Lambert and Evan Pharmakis. The duo records his first demo Massart , using the rhythm box from the Reason program. Shortly after, they recruited drummer Brandon Davis (at the time guitarist of the group Therefore I AM), bassist Shawn Marquis, and singer Joe Bragel. They then record and publish their first EP entitled This Will Be Our Little Secret . Bassist Shawn Marquis says that a hundred copies have been made. It is this EP that allows the group to attract the interest of the labels. They finally sign in With Epitaph Records.

Epitaph Records (2005–2009) [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

In March 2006, a split 7 “vinyl with Therefore I am of 500 copies, was published. They published their third EP and first at Epitaph Records, The Search Party Never Came in . During the recordings, Vanna decides to separate from singer Joe Bragel. Nick Lambert replaces him for the album. After Joe’s departure and the release of the album in , they recruit Chris Preece.

After the release of The Search Party Never Came , the group runs in summer and at the end of the year, then the Cross Seattle, Washington to record their first album with producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Norma Jean, The Fall of Troy, Pearl Jam). They work in until . In , the group turns again with The Esoteric and plays some dates at the Epitaph Tour. Their first album, Curses , is published the .

The , drummer Brandon Davis plays his money show as a member of Vanna and separates from the group during a tour with Knives Exchange Hands and My Hero Is Me. Brandon explains that the reasons are not linked to animosities between members. The group replaces him with a longtime friend, Ryan Seaman. For their second album, they recruit Chris Campbell as a full -time drummer. Their new album, A New Hope , is published the . A New Hope reaches it thirty first It is place of Billboard Heatseekers [ first ] . In , Chris Preece decides to separate from the group for personal reasons. After their tour with Static Lullaby, Preece is replaced by Davey Muise of Seeker Destroyer [ 2 ] . Preece plays her latest concert with Vanna at Mansfield, for the 2009 Warped Tour.

Artery Recordings (2010-2013) [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

In , Vanna announces her signature to Artery Recordings. Their first album at the label is an EP entitled The Honest Hearts recorded with producer Jay Maas, published the [ 3 ] . Vanna publishes the single Passerby this of the Ep The Honest Hearts and a recording of Trashmouth , And Dead Language for a Dying Lady With Davey Muise. THE , the group confirms its arrival at the Glow in the Dark Studios to record a new album, And They Came Baring Bones , with producer Matt Goldman. It is published on . The , Evan Pharmakis (guitar, song) and Chris Campbell (drummer) separate due to financial problems [ 4 ] . Evan forms a solo project, Wind in Sails, and Chris becomes director of a Pacsun store in Providence.

Vanna is recruiting a new drummer, Eric Gross, and begins the recording of a new album, once again with producer Jay Maas [ 5 ] . The , the group publishes the album The Few and the Far Between , and begins a tour to promote it from 2013 to 2014. In , the group records a few songs and announces a vinyl 7 “, Preying/Purging , the [ 6 ] .

Pure Noise Records (since 2014) [ modifier | Modifier and code ]

In , the group is announced on the pure noise records label. The group enters the studio to record their new album with producer Will Putney (Like Moths to Flames, Texas in July, Stray from the path) [ 7 ] .
The , the group announces the title of the fifth album, VOID , and its release date for the At Pure Noise Records [ 8 ] . In August, the group was announced, with other groups like Sirens and Sailors, Sylar and Alive Like Me, in support of Beartooth for their North American tour of October [ 9 ] .

The , they publish the recovery EP EVERYTHING . The , Vanna publishes a clip of her single Pretty Grim , from his next album to be published, All Hell [ ten ] .

On May 19, 2016, the title Pretty Grim, comes out as the first single of their new album, All Hell , scheduled for July 8, 2016 [ 11 ] .

On April 28, 2017, the group announced the tour All Good Things Must Come To An End , confirming their intention to separate [ twelfth ] . Joel Pastuszak chooses not to participate in it. The Eighteen Visions groups, Knocked Loose, End, On Broken Wings, Like Pacific, Kublai Khan, Lions Lions, Old Wounds, Sharptooth, and Roseview will accompany them in this farewell tour [ 13 ] . The ex-members of the Joe Bragel groups, Evan Pharmakis, Chris Preece, Brandon Davis and Eric Gross will also be present for their last date on December 15, 2017 at Worcester Palladium in Worcester [ 14 ] .

Since their sepration, we can find the singer Davey Muise in the Trove group [ 15 ] But also five of the group’s original members, Nicholas Lambert, Brandon Davis, Shawn Marquis, Evan Pharmakis, and Chris Preece in the Inspirit group [ 16 ] .
